North America released China LED lighting products export North American market access requirements

In fact, the LED lighting products exported to the North American market need to meet the requirements of the electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, energy efficiency and chemical testing required by the law. Electrical safety test

Most electrical products entering the U.S. market must comply with the NRTL mark. Electrical products sold in Canada or imported to Canada must be validated and tested in a laboratory accredited by the Canadian Standards Council (SCC).

Energy efficiency test

The United States in terms of energy consumption, there is no LED light bulbs and LED lighting into the scope of control. California calls for removable LED fixtures to meet California's specific energy requirements.

In general, there are six required standards: ENERGYSTAR ENERGY STAR energy efficiency certification, Lighting Facts Label energy efficiency certification, DLC energy efficiency certification, FTC energy efficiency labeling, California energy efficiency requirements, the Canadian energy efficiency testing requirements.

FCC / ICES test requirements

FCC certification is divided into Verification (Self-certification), Declaration of Conformity (announcement declared) and Certification (certification) three models, what kind of authentication, depending on the type of product.

ICES is a mandatory EMC requirement for electrical products in Canada. The standard for LED lamp products is currently ICES-005Issue4.
