Osram expands LED plant lighting business

Recently, Fluence, a plant lighting company under Osram, announced a partnership with BFG Supply (BFG) in the United States. The two parties will combine Fluence’s high-efficiency LED technology and BFG’s decades of experience in serving the green industry to provide US growers with LED plant lighting solutions .

Fluence's high-efficiency LED lighting solutions are widely used in cannabis cultivation and food production. At present, the plant lighting business covers North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Founded in 1972, BFG mainly provides high-level customer service, a wide range of product series and innovative technical solutions to the green industry. The application covers watering tools, control systems, and a wide-area fully integrated professional greenhouse structure. , Lawn and Garden Center, Garden Designers and Indoor Planting Stores have rich service experience.

Through this cooperation, Fluence's LED technology will be combined with BFG's cultivation solutions while expanding its product portfolio. Fluence's entire product line will be oriented to BFG customers, providing efficient, wide-spectrum LED solutions for hydropower stores, garden supply centers and commercial growers across the United States, helping customers' indoor farms and greenhouses and other planting facilities to increase crop yields and product quality.

It is understood that in the LED lighting market segment in 2021, plant lighting has become a "sweet potato".
