OSRAM released the world's first QLED product for general lighting applications

LED lighting has become the mainstream lighting technology a few days ago, and ams OSRAM announced the launch of a new quantum dot LED / QLED product Osconiq E 2835 CRI90 (QD), emphasizing that even in the high color index and warm light color can still exceed 200lm/W efficiency. It is also the world's first QLED in a mature 2835 package, targeting retail and office lighting applications.

The OSRAM emphasizes that by developing quantum dot phosphors exclusively for QLEDs, it is currently the only lighting technology manufacturer that provides QLEDs for general lighting on the market. At the same time, Osconiq E is currently the only LED with a 2835 package that can present a uniform lighting effect.

Osconiq E 2835 CRI90 (QD) has a color temperature range of 2200 to 6500K, and its product size is only 2.5mm x 3.5mm with a size of 0.5W. By encapsulating in a protective packaging, it can reduce external influences such as moisture; at the same time, the unique absorption behavior reduces the number of nano-particles required; OSRAM emphasizes that since the current QLED for lighting is still in its infancy, the effect can be further improved in the future.

In addition to Osconiq E 2835 CRI90 (QD), Osconiq E series offers two versions, including CRI 80 components and Osconiq E 2835 Cyan.
