Outdoor lighting has been reduced in many places in Vietnam

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam recently stated that in order to solve the problem of power shortage under high temperature, many Vietnamese cities, including Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, have adopted energy-saving measures such as reducing outdoor public lighting. In Hanoi, the lighting time of street lights was delayed by 30 minutes, and the closing time was advanced by 30 minutes. The street lights of some main roads and parks were only half opened. Office buildings and shopping malls in Vietnam are required to reduce outdoor lighting, and the authorities also call on people to use air conditioners only when necessary and turn off electrical appliances when they are not in use.
