In September 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other departments jointly issued the "Three-Year Action Plan for New Infrastructure Construction of the Internet of Things (2021-2023)", which mentioned the promotion of new cities infrastructure based on digitization, networking, and intelligence. Promote the construction and large-scale application deployment of sensing terminals such as smart pipe corridors, smart meters, and smart light poles.

In November 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology mentioned in the "14th Five-Year" Information and Communication Industry Development Plan that it is necessary to support the construction of new urban infrastructure and build an integrated perception system for urban roads, buildings, and public facilities.

In December 2021, the National Development and Reform Commission mentioned in the "Implementation of the Implementation Plan for Carbon Neutrality of Carbon Peak and Promoting the Green and High-quality Development of Data Centers and 5G and Other New Infrastructures" that it mentioned accelerating the withdrawal of old high-energy-consuming equipment from the grid and upgrade and transform to promote the construction of smart multi-functional light poles.

In January 2022, the State Council mentioned in the "14th Five-Year" Digital Economy Development Plan that it is necessary to promote the construction of smart cities and digital villages, promote the integration and sharing of urban data and business collaboration, and improve the comprehensive management and service capabilities of cities.

From 2015 to 2021, with the acceleration of urbanization, the overall investment in urban environmental infrastructure construction in my country is on the rise, and the investment in road construction is gradually increasing, which will promote the development of my country's urban lighting industry.

In 2021, the investment in urban environmental infrastructure construction will reach 657.828 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.86%. With the promulgation of relevant policies in our country, all localities have made it clear that they must increase investment to make up for shortcomings and strengths, and investment in urban environmental infrastructure construction will usher in explosive growth.

It is estimated that the investment in my country's urban environmental infrastructure construction will reach 716.715 billion yuan in 2022, and the growth rate will gradually change from negative to positive, reaching 8.95%.
