Taichung Port Branch said that LED light products are green lighting, and the power consumption is 1/2 of that of fluorescent lamps. If each traditional lamp is 80 watts (W) and used for 8 hours a day, 1,600 sets were replaced last year, which can save money 186,880 kWh of electricity, reducing electricity bills by about 840,000 yuan, which is equivalent to buying 1,000 LED flat panel lamps, and the cost can be recovered in about 1.5 years.

This year, a total of 1,007 sets of lamps and lanterns such as the harbour building and the three-dimensional parking lot will be replaced, which can save about 117,530 kWh of electricity and 520,000 yuan in electricity bills every year. The most important thing is that LED lamps convert electrical energy into light energy to achieve the best lighting, and the lifespan is about 10 times that of traditional fluorescent lamps, so the energy-saving and recycling benefits are amazing.
