Road lighting upgrade in Daqing, Heilongjiang

Since May 2023, the streetlight management center of Chengfa Group in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province has been efficiently operating the energy-saving streetlight renovation project, which has made more than 30,000 traditional lamps in Daqing City look brand new, which is not only more energy-saving and environmentally friendly, but also improves the quality of nighttime urban lighting.

Gao Chuanchao, a merchant on Jingsan Street, runs an auto repair shop. Since the energy-saving renovation project of the streetlights on Jingsan Street was promoted in May last year, he and the car owners who came and went have clearly felt the changes in lighting on the road at night. Gao Chuanchao: "After this LED lamp, its brightness is much brighter than before. The car owners who came here also said that the lighting level in Daqing is indeed much better than before, driving is more convenient, and the vision is better at night, which can be clearly felt on the road."

The brand new streetlights not only light up the "travel road" for pedestrians and vehicles, but also light up the "energy-saving development road" of the city. The scope of the street lamp energy-saving renovation project covers five major areas, including Sartu District, Longfeng District, Ranghulu District, Oilfield Area and Petrochemical General Plant Area, with a renovation of about 31,600 lamps. During the implementation phase, the Street Lamp Management Center established a full-process, closed-loop working mechanism for disassembly, installation, data entry, debugging, verification, transportation and warehousing, and promoted the street lamp energy-saving renovation task in an efficient and orderly manner, replacing the existing traditional high-pressure sodium lamps with LED energy-saving lamps, with obvious energy-saving and consumption-reducing effects.
