Signify and Linxia Baiyi signed a cooperation agreement on cut flower rose light formula
Signify announced that it has signed a two-year cooperation agreement on LED light formulations for cut roses with Linxia Baiyi Modern Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. in Gansu, China, to jointly carry out LED supplementary light application research for greenhouse cultivation of cut roses in western China. At the same time, a tripartite joint laboratory of Signify, Baiyi Group and Yunnan Abeda was established in the International Flower Port Flower Production Demonstration Base in Linxia National Agricultural Science and Technology Park (China-Netherlands), Gansu.
Signify will set up a special innovative agricultural research fund for the joint laboratory of the light formula cooperation project, and will send Signify International plant experts from time to time to the Linxia (China-Netherlands) International Flower Port project for flower LED supplement light technology training and information exchange and resource sharing, promote the application and promotion of the latest international LED supplementary light technology and cases in western China, and improve the quality and economic benefits of western flower production.
The Linxia (China-Netherlands) International Flower Port Project in Gansu is invested by Linxia Baiyi Modern Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. for the development of high-end flower industry. With the launch of the joint laboratory, Signify also awarded the two companies to be the ambassadors of Signify's facility horticulture LED in the world and China's flower industry.
