Six High-Pole Lights Illuminated Lianhuashan Square in Shilou Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou
Recently, the Lianhuashan Community in Shilou Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou, focused on residents' concerns and carried out comprehensive repairs on six high-pole lights in Lianhuashan Square, fulfilling its commitment to "doing practical things for the people" and effectively improving residents' quality of life.

As a major recreational area in the community, Lianhuashan Square, with its convenient transportation and spacious activity area, has long attracted many residents for fitness and recreation. Every evening, the square is bustling with residents strolling, playing ball, and dancing. However, recently, due to aging circuits and other reasons, six high-pole lights in the square have broken down one after another, not only affecting residents' nighttime activities but also posing safety hazards.
"This is not just a lighting problem, but a major issue concerning people's livelihood," said the Party Secretary of Lianhuashan Community. After a special study by the community's "two committees" (Party branch and residents' committee) and the "people's livelihood micro-projects" observation team, it was decided to allocate funds from the Party building special fund to implement the repair project. The project includes replacing 15 LED lights and 8 sodium lamps, as well as re-laying cables, carrying out a comprehensive upgrade and renovation of the square's lighting system.
During construction, a professional lighting company conducted a comprehensive inspection of the plaza's electrical system. Maintenance personnel used specialized equipment to inspect each line and replace damaged components. After the system overhaul, the plaza was brightly lit again. The newly renovated lighting facilities not only beautified the community environment but also ensured the safety of residents during nighttime activities, earning unanimous praise from the public.
Next, Lianhuashan Community will continue to promote the implementation of the "Micro-Projects for People's Livelihood" initiative, guided by Party building principles, turning the "key small matters" that concern the masses into "major happiness events" that enhance their sense of gain, making community development more humane and improving the quality of people's well-being.
