Street lights installed in Fuliang County, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi
Although street lights are small, they are related to society and people's livelihood and are a major event that has close relations with the masses. Jiaotan Village, Jiaotan Town, Fuliang County, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province actively carried out the "I do practical things for the masses" activity, focusing on making up for the people's "urgent, difficult and anxious" travel shortcomings, and completely solving the people's night travel safety problems.
People in Jiaotan Village reported that the roads in the village were dark at night, making it extremely inconvenient to travel at night, and there were certain traffic safety risks. Therefore, installing street lights to light up the way home for people has become a major wish of the people in Jiaotan Village. In response to this problem, the Jiaotan Village Committee actively planned and researched and vigorously promoted it. Up to now, a total of 145 solar street lights have been installed in Jiaotan Village, all of which have been installed and put into use, effectively ensuring the safety of people traveling at night, effectively practicing "I do practical things for the people", and striving to achieve "beautiful rural construction" contributing to the project has benefited more than 800 people.
The villagers said, "Our family has lived beside the old 206 National Highway for 20 years and we can finally go out at night without worry. We are usually very careful when going out at night. Although the road is easy to walk, it is very unsafe without street lights. This time the lights are on. We feel relieved when we go out.”
In the next step, Jiaotan Village will continue to practice its original intention of serving the people, go deep into the front line to listen to the voices of the villagers, start from the "urgent, difficult and anxious expectations" of the people, do a good job in people's livelihood matters with heart and emotion, do small things well, do good things in a practical way, so that rural revitalization work is more "down-to-earth" and continues to enhance people's sense of happiness, gain and security in transportation.
