The Environment of Hotel LED Lighting Design

　　Light is the elf of night, which makes the night life colorful. Light is the soul of architecture. A myriad twinkling lights is not only praise for the night scenery but also a commendation on the lighting. The hotel is the place where makes people’s life comfortable and colorful, thus the lighting design of the hotel is even more important.

　　According to the engineering designers of ENELTEC, the experience sense of LED lighting design in hotels can be considered mainly from the following two levels:

　　Visual environment

　　From the visual environment aspects, the light color (color temperature), the beam angle, the third dimensional and other factors should be considered. Light color can be divided into cold, warm and natural. Different color temperature can create a different environment experience. And because different beam angle will form a different light shadow, thus reducing the average illumination in the hotel and expanding accent lighting, which will make the hotel more stereo feeling.

　　Visual performance

　　Visual performance mainly considers the brightness of LED lights and glare control. The design of using different LED lights for dark areas and bright areas in the hotel makes the hotel richer in layering. The general lighting methods of LED lighting include direct lighting, indirect lighting, semi-direct lighting, semi-indirect lighting, diffuse lighting and intelligent control lighting. By using optical materials with reduced glare (such as frosted glass, white hood, specially designed grille), the diffuse lighting diffuses the light all around with almost the same intensities in all directions, which will better creates the space atmosphere. The control of glare of the lighting is extremely important, which affects the overall lighting performance of the hotel.
