The Kuching City, Malaysia launched LED street lighting replacement project

In order to make Kuching City, to be one of the most beautiful, clean and safe cities in Asia by 2017, Malaysia launched the first phase of LED street lighting replacement project during the period of Eid al-Fitr.

According to Abang Johari, the Minister of Housing and Tourism of Malaysia, he said, the second phase for LED lighting replacement project will be conducted in November this year, in the future this may be extended to some of the newly developed urban areas. So far they plan to install 90 W LED lights, with the total cost of 1.2 million ringgit.
