Major manufacturers have joined the flip-chip COB display camp

Under the dual catalysis of market and capital, players from all walks of life have rushed to enter the COB display market since 2020.

It is understood that there are not many domestic screen companies that can mass produce and ship COB display products, and the overall number is only maintained in single digits.

However, correspondingly, since the beginning of 2021, major manufacturers such as Lanpu Video and Absen have announced their participation in the flip-chip COB display camp and released related flip-chip COB display products.

In the process of developing from small-pitch to fine-pitch display, the original SMD package has been difficult to break through the limitation of smaller dot pitch, and it is difficult to guarantee higher reliability and protection. Fine-pitch display requires COB technology to support it.
