The medical center at the university of new Mexico to install LED intelligent lighting system

At rensselaer polytechnic institute (RPI) intelligent lighting engineering research center (ERC) recently in central new Mexico City of Albuquerque, new Mexico university medical center (UNM) installed a unique medical intelligent lighting system in hospital.UNM researchers intend to use the lighting system to study the effect of lighting for human health and disease.It is reported, the national science foundation will by more than one institution, interdisciplinary "Engineering Research Center Program", to provide financial assistance for this lighting system installed.

UNM researchers will for the first time, the LED lighting side by side control research how to affect human health, and will also study the circadian rhythm disorders and treatment, health conditions such as Parkinson's disease, depression, and other have previously shown to exposure in the spectrum, light intensity and illumination time right reaction of nervous system diseases treatment.
