The "Technical Requirements for LED Night Scene Lighting Application" is reported and implemented by TC452 (National Standardization Technical Committee for Building Energy Conservation), and the competent authority is the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

The formulation of this standard is to promote the better application of LEDs in night scene lighting, supplement and perfect night scene lighting related standards, and apply to LED lamps, driving power supplies, control systems and their applications for night scene lighting.

There are more than 20 main drafting units, including OSRAM (China) Lighting Co., Ltd., Leyard (Chengdu) Cultural Tourism Technology Co., Ltd., Signify (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Aclaite Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Overclocking Three Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing New Space Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Qianbaihui Lighting Engineering Co., Ltd. are all listed.

The main technical content of the standard includes: 1. LED light source for night scene lighting and lamp specification classification requirements 2. LED lamp performance requirements for night scene lighting: including the basic requirements, luminosity requirements, chromaticity requirements, electrical and safety requirements of LED lamps for night scene lighting 3. Control requirements of LED lamps for night scene lighting

According to general requirements, LED lighting products for night scene lighting should meet the requirements of JGJ/T 163.

LED lamps should be able to work normally within an ambient temperature of -40℃~50℃. Special places should meet other requirements such as ambient temperature, humidity and corrosiveness of the specific place of use.

At the same time, the driving power of LED lamps should meet the requirements of the national CCC certification. The control system should have safety, reliability, openness and scalability.

The standard stipulates that LED lamps for night scene lighting should be divided into LED lamps for functional lighting and LED lamps for landscape lighting. The life of the lamps should not be less than 25000h.

In addition, the luminous flux maintenance rate of the LED lamps during 3000h of normal operation should not be lower than 96%, and the luminous flux maintenance rate of 6000h should not be lower than 92%; the damage rate of the lamps after one year of normal operation should not be higher than 0.5%.

It is worth noting that there are currently no technical requirements for LED night scene lighting applications at home and abroad. For the first time, this standard regulates the specification classification, luminosity, chromaticity, dimming, energy efficiency and other technical indicators and related applications of LED lamps for night scene lighting, filling the gap in the LED night scene lighting standard.

The formulation of standards is conducive to the use of the advantages and characteristics of LEDs, and has important guiding significance for the practice of LED city night lighting. It will play a positive role in improving the light environment quality of urban lighting, reducing light pollution, and promoting the healthy development of the lighting industry.
