The Small Town at Texas plans to complete the transformation of LED street lights

According to foreign media reports, starting from 10 years ago, Witchita Falls, Texas, plans to complete the renovation of LED street lights, the city council approved the $2.8 million project.

Currently, at least 2,490 road lighting equipment has been switched to LEDs, and the city plans to upgrade the remaining 5,727 high-pressure sodium lamps, metal halide lamps and mercury vapor street lamps to LEDs.

It is estimated that the project can be completed in four to five months. The new lights save about 2.8 million kWh of electricity per year.
