On March 6, 2018, the United States Fraen Corporation of Reading, MA submitted a 337 case filing investigation request to the US ITC, claiming that the product exported to the United States, imported in the United States, and sold in the United States infringed its patent rights (US registered patent number 9, 411,083, 9,772,499), requested the US ITC to issue general exclusion orders, limited exclusion orders, and injunction orders.

The US Trade Commission will determine the end of the investigation within 45 days after the case is filed. Except for the U.S. trade representative’s veto on policy grounds, the U.S. International Trade Commission’s relief order issued in 337 cases took effect from the date of issue and had final effect on the 60th day after the release date.
