These LED standards will be implemented from May 1st

From May 1st, a series of standards related to the LED industry will be implemented soon. As a LED lighting person, can you not understand?

1. Shenzhen released the first local standard for indoor LED light information transmission system

On April 4th, Shenzhen Municipal Market and Quality Supervision and Management Committee released the Shenzhen Standardization Technical Document “General Technical Requirements for Indoor LED Optical Information Transmission System” (No.: SZDB/Z 297-2018) to regulate indoor LED optical information transmission. The technical requirements of the system will be implemented from May 1, 2018.

The document specifies the system configuration, equipment performance requirements, interface protocols, coding methods, and security requirements in the indoor LED optical information transmission system.

The document is applicable to short-distance communication technology in which the visible light (spectrum band 380nm-780nm) and infrared light (spectral band 790nm-1mm) emitted by LEDs are used as information carriers in indoor environment, and the lighting fixtures required for normal use in lighting places are satisfied in communication. At the same time, the lighting indicators such as power, illumination, color temperature and color rendering index of the lamps shall comply with GB50034. When applied in non-civil or special areas, the luminaires shall comply with the laws and regulations of the corresponding fields and regions. The document does not apply to outdoor LED optical communication technology in environments with sunlight and noise.

This document is applicable to indoor LED optical information transmission technology related products produced and sold in Shenzhen.

2. "Fixed General LED Lamp Performance Requirements"

GB/T34446-2017 "Fixed General Purpose LED Lamp Performance Requirements" is a newly developed recommended national standard, implementation date: 2018-05-01.

3. "Sharp edge test device for lighting equipment and test program sharp edge test"

The newly-developed national standardization technical document GB/Z34447-2017 "Sharp edge test device for lighting equipment and test program sharp edge test" was released, implementation date: 2018-05-01, the guiding technical document is equivalent to IECTR62854:2014 .

4. "Performance requirements for removable general-purpose LED lamps"

GB/T 34452-2017 "Performance Requirements for Portable General Purpose LED Lamps" is a newly developed recommended national standard, implementation date: 2018-05-01.
