Xiamen Shugang Viaduct Lighting Upgrade Project in Full Swing

Recently, to improve urban road lighting quality and ensure nighttime driving safety, the lighting upgrade project for Xiamen's Shugang Viaduct in Fujian Province has been progressing at full speed, with construction work steadily advancing.

The original lighting fixtures on Shugang Viaduct have been in service for over 17 years. Prolonged operation has led to issues such as insufficient illumination and severe glare, failing to meet the lighting requirements for an urban expressway/Class I highway and posing significant safety risks for nighttime driving. Additionally, aging cables and distribution boxes present potential hazards and maintenance difficulties that urgently need addressing. The upgrade will replace the existing fluorescent guardrail lights with energy-efficient LED guardrail lights while resolving wiring and distribution box issues.
