In the classroom of the ninth grade (6) class, the reporter saw that 9 LED lighting fixtures were installed on the ceiling of the classroom, and 3 blackboard lamps were installed in front of the blackboard. The whole classroom looked very bright. The lighting of the blackboard is quite particular. It adopts a special installation angle. When the blackboard is directly illuminated, the blackboard is bright, but from the perspective of the students sitting below, there is no direct light and no glare.
At the scene, the staff is measuring the light illuminance in the classroom. "Color rendering index Ra>90, illuminance balance ≥0.7, recommended color temperature 4300-5300, lighting power density 7... All parameters are in line with the "Jiangsu Province Renovation and Improvement of Compulsory Education School Classroom Lighting Project Operation Regulations". Xuzhou Education Zhang Huiling of the Educational Technology Equipment Center of the Bureau said that compared with ordinary classrooms, the most obvious thing in the renovated classrooms is that the lighting has been changed. Compared with traditional lighting, the installed healthy lighting can focus more on the desk, and the color temperature is close to natural light. The flash frequency is also very low, which plays a certain role in the protection of students' eyesight.
Lei Xiuying, deputy principal of No. 34 Middle School, told reporters that all 36 classes in the school were replaced with LED lighting. The first batch of 25 classrooms will be replaced in 2020, and the last 11 classrooms will be replaced with LED lighting by the end of December 2021. After all the LED lighting fixtures are replaced, the light source in the classroom is more stable and softer, and the flickering phenomenon is no longer there, which is very beneficial to the eyesight protection of students. In the past, when using lamps, there would be some harsh, high-frequency noises in the classroom, but now there is no more. It can be said that the students' learning environment is warmer, brighter and more beautiful. In addition, judging from the electricity consumption figures reported by the school every day, the use of LED lighting fixtures is also more energy-efficient.
"The original light would have a shadow on the blackboard, which is dazzling and uncomfortable for the eyes. Especially in summer, when the fan is turned on, the phenomenon of dazzling often occurs. Now it is replaced by LED lighting, which is energy-saving, environmentally friendly, and shining on the blackboard there will be no shadows , and the light will be softer," said Wang Keni, grade 9 (9) class of the school.
Up to now, the municipal equipment center has achieved full coverage of healthy lighting equipment in the classrooms of directly affiliated schools.
