In order to actively respond to the national requirements for the prevention and control of myopia in children and adolescents, improve the lighting conditions of primary and secondary schools in the city, and protect the eye health of young people, recently, the Zhenjiang Market Supervision Bureau of Jiangsu Province and the Municipal Education Bureau launched the 2023 Spring Semester Classroom Lighting for Primary and Secondary Schools in Zhenjiang City. Sampling. The testing work will be carried out by Zhenjiang Metrology Center.
This sampling inspection includes a total of 14 primary and secondary schools in the compulsory education stage including the municipal district and Danyang, Yangzhong, and Jurong. Each school randomly selects 3 to 4 classrooms, and a total of 50 classrooms are sampled. In accordance with standards such as "GB 7793-2010 Hygienic Standards for Daylighting and Lighting in Classrooms of Primary and Secondary Schools" and "GB/T 5700-2008 Lighting Measurement Methods" and other standards, the inspectors tested the glare value, illuminance of classroom and blackboard lights, lighting power density, blue light hazard, color temperature, etc. and other indicators were tested on the spot. The test results will be uniformly reported to the education authorities of each school. For the items that have not yet met the standards, they will be notified to rectify within a time limit and carry out re-inspection.
During the sampling inspection, the inspectors also explained classroom lighting standards and related measurement knowledge to the school, teachers and students, and guided young people to improve their awareness of eye protection and further develop the habit of eye hygiene.
At present, the renovation and upgrading project of the classroom lighting project of compulsory education schools in Zhenjiang city is in good condition, and the number of school classrooms equipped with LED eye protection lamps is gradually increasing.
