ENELTEC accelerates the development of smart LED lighting solutions
Promote energy-efficient and innovative ENELTEC semiconductors, launch an interconnected lighting platform, and make full use of the company's expertise in power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and ultra-low-power low-power Bluetooth connection and AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion design.
This prototype platform enables the engineering team to explore and innovate in the field of connected lighting, making lighting equipment a part of the Internet of Things (IoT). This interconnected lighting platform contains a variety of connections for LED control, including reliable low-power Bluetooth and Power over Ethernet provided by RSL10 SIP. It provides up to 90 watts of output power and provides two independent channels, each of which can provide and control up to 16 LEDs. This energy-efficient modular platform combined with energy-harvesting Bluetooth low energy switches, and can also be used to develop battery-free LED lighting applications.
Comprehensive software tools support connected lighting platforms, including an integrated development environment (IDE), various use cases, and mobile applications. If you use RSL10 Sense and Control application (for iOS and Google Play) or Web client, this platform can control LEDs wirelessly. After installing the application, firmware updates using the RSL10 FOTA application (iOS, Google Play) can be easily sent.
In addition to the platform, ENELTEC Semiconductor has also developed PoE modules for high-power wired connections. The module is based on the NCP1096 interface controller that complies with IEEE 802.3bt. The expansion platform provides nearly 90W of power and can now be transmitted by an Ethernet cable.
