The night view of Winter Olympics Avenue LED lighting is like "Jade Ruyi"

The night view lighting of the "Winter Olympic Avenue" in Shijingshan District has been installed and tested recently, and will be fully opened during important festivals and the Winter Olympics. A total of 53,000 sets of energy-saving LED lamps have been installed on the 9.6-kilometer “Winter Olympic Avenue” to form a “Jade Ruyi” shape in the night sky, which can effectively improve the quality of the landscape around the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee and the Winter Olympic venues, and bring residents along the road to night travel convenient.

In the evening, the landscape lighting on both sides of the Jinyuan Bridge on the Fifth Ring Road in Shijingshan District was turned on uniformly. Under the light, the sculptures of the emblems of the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Beijing Winter Paralympics, which are more than 20 meters high, are extremely solemn and magnificent, scattered in the surrounding green spaces. The light strips and colored lights set off a peaceful atmosphere. Taking Jinyuan Bridge as the starting point, a group of white light boxes, like long silver dragons, extend westward along Fushi Road, resembling a "Jade Ruyi" lying in the night sky in the west of Beijing.

According to the person in charge of the Shijingshan District Urban Management Committee, the Jinyuan Bridge on the Fifth Ring Road is the gateway to Shijingshan District and the eastern starting point of the "Winter Olympic Avenue." The brightness of the surrounding landscape lighting is in sharp contrast with the surrounding low-brightness environment, highlighting the theme of the Winter Olympics. The facade lights of the bridge can also project the patterns of plants, presenting the harmonious atmosphere of the ecological green city in Shijingshan District.

The main part of the "Winter Olympic Avenue" is divided into upper and lower spaces by the expressway. On the viaduct, the constructors added night-scene lighting light boxes on both sides of the road. The horizontal lights present different virtual and real changes, and the light is like water, forming a highly recognizable urban landscape image. In the part of the bridge under the bridge, the color lighting of the bridge pillars in the intersection area is added to illuminate the column facade, showing a rhythmic bridge pillar structure, making the bridge more majestic and majestic.

Shijingshan District has also upgraded the landscape lighting of Huayu Park on both sides of Fushi Road, Yangzhuang West Green Space, and West Modern City Green Space, and installed down-illuminated lamps to supplement the basic lighting of the green space, so that the light can be laid under the feet, satisfying the citizens to enjoy the night.
