Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba and Multimedia Umeda have been introduced in advance since December last year, and are currently available at the Shinjuku West Exit Main Store, Multimedia Machida, Multimedia Kichijoji, Multimedia Yokohama, Multimedia Kawasaki Le Fron, Multimedia Kyoto, and Multimedia Hakata. In the future, the remaining stores will be replaced one by one.

The lighting equipment used by the Yodobashi camera this time is the "LED lighting lamp with sterilization and deodorization function specially developed for the Yodobashi camera" developed by Kaga Electronics. It is coated with a photo catalyst, which has the effect of adsorbing and inactivating various organic substances such as PM2.5, viruses, bacteria and unpleasant odors floating indoors. Titanium dioxide apatite used as a photo catalyst has the property of adsorbing organic matter in the air even if it is not exposed to light, absorbs sunlight, fluorescent lamps and LED light, and has a stronger oxidizing ability than chlorine and ozone. It can generate OH free radicals and safely decompose and inactivate harmful organic substances.
