Public Toilet Illumination in Yueyang, Hunan
Recently, observant citizens have noticed that as night falls, the exterior walls of public toilets along the streets of Yueyang City in Hunan Province are illuminated by lights. This is another new initiative by Yueyang Sub-district to enhance the construction and management of public toilets and promote the in-depth development of the "Toilet Revolution."

Public toilets are closely related to people's daily lives and serve as a window showcasing a city's civilized image. To further improve the city's aesthetics and enhance the visibility of public toilets, Yueyang Sub-district has upgraded the exterior lighting of 19 public toilets located in high-traffic areas such as streets and green spaces. In addition to illuminating the "Public Toilet" signage lightboxes, wall washers, corrugated lights, and other nightscape lighting facilities have been installed. Under the glow of the lights, these toilets appear both soft and eye-catching from a distance, adding warmth and vitality to the night.
Furthermore, some public toilets have been adorned with beautifying elements that reflect the distinctive characteristics of Yueyang, providing citizens with a more pleasant restroom environment.
This illumination and beautification project for public toilets not only enhances the restroom environment for citizens but also elevates the city's image and level of civilization. In the next step, Yueyang Sub-district will continue to prioritize the needs of the people, further improve public toilet service facilities while strengthening daily management, and strive to enhance citizens' sense of happiness and satisfaction.
