Xinjiang Golden Beach Tourist Resort Launches Comprehensive Lighting Upgrade
To enrich winter tourism offerings and enhance the visitor experience, the Golden Beach Tourist Resort in Heshuo County, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, recently launched a comprehensive lighting upgrade project. Staff meticulously implemented measures, systematically installing colored lights, light strips, and floodlights in key areas such as core buildings, landscape trees, and walkways, giving the winter Golden Beach a unique radiance.

Compared to the hustle and bustle of summer, the winter Golden Beach is more tranquil and elegant. As the lighting project progresses smoothly, the Golden Beach is gradually awakened by light and shadow after nightfall. Warm yellow light strips gently outline the winding contours of the beach, while colorful, shimmering light strips flow and twinkle among the branches and leaves, sometimes like a cascading galaxy, sometimes like dancing butterflies. The interplay of warm and colorful light creates a dreamlike winter night scene on the shores of Bosten Lake. Strolling through the area, visitors are immersed in a dazzling world of light and shadow, fully experiencing the romantic charm of winter, a stark contrast to the vibrant summer atmosphere.
Visitor Zhang Haitao said, "Golden Beach is already incredibly beautiful in winter, but at night, when all the lights are on, it's absolutely stunning! The butterfly-shaped light strips wrapped around the trees even mimic the fluttering of butterfly wings when lit up, which is incredibly lifelike; the colored lights on the buildings are also very unique, constantly changing colors and patterns, making for fantastic photos. I'll definitely bring my family and friends here more often to take pictures."
It is understood that this lighting upgrade project focused on the core tourist areas of the resort, adhering to the principle of "balancing aesthetics and practicality," creating distinctive light and shadow landscapes while simultaneously optimizing and upgrading infrastructure. Through the deep integration of light and shadow art with cultural and tourism scenes, the project effectively enhances the visitor experience and helps revitalize the winter tourism market.
"Our project officially started in mid-October and is expected to be fully completed by the end of December. The construction area covers the main tourist route of Jinshatan Scenic Area, stretching one kilometer from east to west. During this period, we have installed over 10,000 meters of single-color warm light strips, over 6,000 meters of colorful light strips, as well as more than 200 floodlights and a batch of colored wall washer lights. Through comprehensive and multi-layered lighting upgrades, the main road of the scenic area will present a colorful visual effect at night, further enhancing the scenic area's aesthetic appeal and attractiveness," said Yan Long, manager of Tiansheng Jiayuan Security Technology Prevention Engineering Co., Ltd.
Currently, the scenic area staff are working overtime to advance the remaining light strip installation, lamp installation and debugging, and safety testing, striving to ensure that all lighting facilities are completed on time, with high quality, and in sufficient quantity. At that time, the newly renovated Jinshatan Tourist Resort in Heshuo County will welcome tourists from all over the world with its dazzling night view, adding new vitality and opening up new scenes for Heshuo County's winter cultural tourism market.
