23-km Nightscape Lighting Corridor in Wuqing District, Tianjin Spreads Strong Festive Atmosphere
During the Spring Festival holiday, Wuqing District in Tianjin, under the theme "Galloping Light, Shining Yongyang," weaves traditional festive flavors with Wuqing's local culture into every light installation, inviting residents and tourists to a visual feast celebrating a "Tianjin-style Chinese New Year."

4 Nightscape Lighting Corridors and 44 Dazzling Landscape Nodes Shine Brightly
Six cross-street light belts stretch a total of 3,000 meters, six landscape light columns stand tall along the streets, 190,000 meters of string lights interweave with 7,900 square meters of net lights to create a brilliant tableau, all adorned with 6,180 sets of distinctive hanging decorations.
A representative from the Wuqing District Urban Management Commission stated that for this Spring Festival, the municipal authorities have delved deep into Wuqing's unique characteristics and culture to create three special feature scenes: the "Prosperity in the Home of Silk Flowers" lantern display showcasing the cultural heritage of Yongyang, the "Carpet Culture" exhibition area recounting Wuqing's development history, and the "Wuqing Awaits You" photo spot, which has become a new favorite for residents to capture the essence of the "Pearl of Beijing and Tianjin, Happy Wuqing."
Forty-six locations across six parks, including Cultural Park and Cuihui Green Corridor, have been festively adorned with lights. At the north entrance of Cultural Park, a 3D lantern installation titled "Four Horses Bringing Blessings" perfectly blends zodiac culture with New Year's auspiciousness. On both sides of the fountain, a "Folk Customs Corridor" uses vivid scenes to recreate traditional New Year customs. In the "Cute Pets Greet the New Year" themed light group, cartoon figures like "Little Bunny Baba" and "Wu Xiaofu" appear charmingly naive, brimming with Wuqing characteristics.
Whether strolling along main roads experiencing a "sparkling spectacle," visiting parks to check in with themed lights, or encountering intangible cultural heritage lanterns in commercial districts, visitors can immerse themselves in the richest festive atmosphere.
