Yongfa Subdistrict in Tiexi District, Anshan, Liaoning, Steadily Advances Solar Streetlight Installation and Replacement

On April 7, the solar streetlight installation and replacement project in Fengshengbao Village, Yongfa Subdistrict, Tiexi District, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, progressed in an orderly manner. This renovation strictly adhered to the requirements outlined in the Tiexi District 2026 Rural Environmental Improvement Project Implementation Plan, focusing on replacing old and aging streetlights within the village and adding more than 50 new solar streetlights, effectively addressing shortcomings in rural lighting infrastructure.

At the construction site, workers divided tasks and worked intensively along both sides of the village roads, installing solar panels. Brand-new solar streetlights were put in place one after another, and equipment installation and debugging were completed to high standards. Compared with traditional streetlights, the new solar lights offer higher brightness and broader coverage, completely resolving previous issues such as dimly lit sections and prominent lighting blind spots within the village. Powered entirely by solar energy without consuming grid electricity, the village will save over 6,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. This not only embodies a low-carbon approach but also reduces the village's expenses. "As the weather warms up, people go out for walks and activities more often in the evening. The new streetlights are bright and durable-no more having to feel our way in the dark," said Li Xiaofu, a villager, praising the upgraded lighting facilities.

Today, rows of solar streetlights stand neatly along both sides of the village roads, absorbing solar energy during the day and lighting up the night to protect every household. The upgrade of lighting facilities not only improves rural infrastructure and beautifies the village's appearance but also enhances villagers' sense of well-being and fulfillment through tangible benefits. Fengshengbao Village will continue to carry out routine maintenance of the streetlights to ensure their long-term and stable operation.
