Government strongly supports LED commercial lighting products

　　Recently, according to the " notification of intensifying its efforts to ensure the realization of 2013 emission reduction targets" issued by National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Housing are collectively responsible for promoting the implementation of green lighting project and semiconductor lighting (LED) energy industry planning, continuing to implement energy saving projects that benefit people and promoting efficient lighting products 130 million. It is reported that the future financial subsidies for green lighting will shift from fluorescent lamps to efficient LED lighting products.

　　For commercial lighting policy support, as early as February 17 this year, six ministries has jointly issued the " semiconductor lighting industry energy saving planning," which clearly puts forward increasing the promotion of LED lighting products in commercial lighting, industrial lighting, government offices , public lighting and other fields, focusing on the demonstration application and promotion of LED down lights, spotlights and other indoor lighting products and systems, thus achieving the goal of weeding incandescent lamps higher than 60W out general lighting and the market share of LED functional lighting products increasing to more than 20 % of the target. The release of this "plan" also marks the beginning of the development of LED lighting industry steering centralized purchasing LED indoor lighting applications , LED lighting terminal marketing trend is intensified from outdoor lighting.

　　As the country's LED industry gathering place, the Guangdong provincial government is walking in the forefront of the country in supporting for the LED lighting industry. The provincial government pointed out at the joint meeting of promoting specialized LED, next step is to increase the intensity of the promotion and use of indoor LED lighting in public institutions. All areas of education, health and others accelerate the promotion of LED lighting. Promote the application of LED in the whole society by applying these financial managements, guiding the whole society to energy-efficient LED green lighting.
