Recently, Shandong Electric Power Research Institute published an ASR last month. This LED energy-saving project is assigned and supported by the National Power Supply Bureau of China. In this project, a large range of LED samples (long life led street light) have been tested. The final result shows that the average energy-saving rate of LED lighting products is ranging 63%. Traditional led high bay has an average energy-saving rate of 57%, while high bay t5 has a relatively lower energy-saving rate, only 53%. For outdoor led landscape lighting: traditional LED streetlight has an average energy-saving rate of 68%. And long life led street light has an average energy-saving rate of 48%
Lu Chi Energy Technology Co., Ltd is a subsidiary of Shandong Electric Power Research Institute. At the end of 2010 signed an energy-saving contract with Shandong Huiquan Industrial Co., Ltd to design the energy-saving lighting system for the clothing workshop of Huiquan. Terms in the contract explicitly stipulated that long life led street light system is going to replace the traditional high-energy fluorescent lighting system to create an environment friendly, efficient, safe, economic working environment. The essential purpose of this project is to reduce electricity consumption by improving lighting efficiency. The main tested long life led street light in this project are led high bay lights and led streetlights. Through tests, the average workbench illumination of users increased by 62%, an average of 50% aisle illumination. According to the user’s current average electricity consumption calculation, within the next 5 years about 67 million of electricity will be saved.
