The Xixi Viaduct, located at the entrance and exit of the Nan’an West (Lunchang) Expressway in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, originally only connected the G358 line and Maosheng West Road. With the opening of the Anxi Branch Expressway, a huge amount of traffic has been brought to the Xixi Viaduct, which was originally only 1.3 kilometers long.
In order to bring more convenient and safe travel to the surrounding people and people traveling in and out of Luncang. The Luncang Town Government of Nan’an City launched the Xixi Viaduct lighting project through bidding at the end of December 2023. The project took 30 days to be successfully completed. The project installed 24 12-meter-high LED 200W street lights on the approach sections at both ends of the bridge. A 1,650-meter-long LED directional lighting guardrail light was installed on the bridge section, and 2,900 meters of cables were laid.
Luncang Town has been committed to improving the infrastructure construction within its jurisdiction and improving the quality of life of residents. To this end, the road lighting project has been implemented in depth to light up the “footpath” for residents, illuminate the “happy road” in the township, and give rural revitalization a “head start”.
The entire lighting project takes into account many advantages such as energy saving and emission reduction, low carbon and environmental protection, high safety performance, good stability, long service life, etc. It not only meets the lighting needs, but also achieves a harmonious unity of functionality, environmental protection and aesthetics.
