LED is the abbreviation of Light Emitting Diode and it is a soild state semiconductor devices, which can be converted directly into electricity for light. The heart of the high output led lighting is a semiconductor chip.
At present, LED street light fluorescent lamp is becoming more and more popular and of great importance. Why it is widely used among people? And what is the advantages and disadvantages compared with ordinary fluorescent lamp?
As to the advantages, I listed as follows:
First of all, It saves energy and it is for long life which is very good for environment protection. Second, the applicability of the high output led lighting is very good because of the small size of the single led which can be made into any shape. Third, the response time is not too long but short. Led is nanosecond level of response time but the ordinary lamp is the level of response time in ms (milliseconds) not like led tubes.
The last but not the least, it made great contributions to our environmental protection and it is easy for recycling because of its harmless mental. What is more, Led is colorful, luminous and of pure color, narrow spectral range. Through the RGB, three primary colors can blend into a colorful or white.
As everyone knows, every coin has two sides. High output led lighting also has its disadvantages. There is not doubt that it is more expensive than ordinary lamp and the light efficiency and the theoretical light efficiency generally does a big gap. Moreover , there is a big gap to do the actual life and theory of life(10W hour) in a same level and there are still a certain amount of heat.
We believe that with the improvement of the LED Lights, the disadvantages will be reduced and it will be commonly used in the world market, even the ordinary lamps will be replaced by high output led lighting.
