220 Streetlights Illuminate Gulei Development Zone in Zhangzhou, Fujian
Recently, the first phase of the lighting project along the Gulei Development Zone section of the G228 Coastal Highway in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, was officially completed and put into operation. This initiative has created a safer and more convenient nighttime traffic environment for local residents and passing vehicles, effectively lighting up the "safety lamp" for nighttime travel.
The project spans approximately 4.15 kilometers along the G228 Coastal Highway (Gulei Development Zone section), passing through several villages, including Xiamei Village, Baishi Village, and Dongmen Village. This road serves as a vital link connecting the eastern and western coastal areas of Zhangpu County within the Gulei Development Zone. The improvement project begins at Zhongshe Middle Bridge and ends at the intersection of Beijiang Village. It includes the installation of around 220 streetlights, along with supporting infrastructure such as cables and box-type substations.
The project's on-site(person in charge) stated, "To ensure the project was completed on schedule and to enhance safety for residents along the route, the District Construction Bureau and Jianfa Group organized a dedicated project team. They streamlined the process, quickly gathered information from all stakeholders, and significantly improved decision-making efficiency. The streetlights in this project feature a 3000K warm light color temperature, which offers strong penetration and is particularly well-suited for coastal areas."
