40,000 LED energy-saving street lamps will light up Suqian City

In most sections of Suqian city, whenever the night falls on the Hua Deng, a row of chic LED energy-saving roads shines and shines, and the Suqian under the night is full of brilliance and vitality. The beautiful scenery has greatly improved the "face value" of the city.

In recent years, Suqian City has completed the lighting renovation project of People's Avenue, Development Avenue, Huanghe Road and Xihu Road with the goal of dressing up the city and beautifying the environment. It has newly installed and reconstructed more than 30,000 street lamps and timely eliminated road lighting. In the blind spot, send the light to the public.

In response to the national call for energy conservation and emission reduction, Suqian City has continuously explored and applied new energy-saving technologies and new light sources for street lamps. Since 2016, Suqian City has been renovating old street lamps in urban areas in batches, and gradually promoted the application of LED energy-saving lamps with fast start-up, low power and high brightness.

In 2018, Suqian City launched the LED street lamp energy-saving renovation project in the main city, and carried out LED energy-saving renovation for 19,000-inch high-pressure sodium lamps. It adopted EMC contract energy management mode and covered 193 roads including Development Avenue, Yingbin Avenue and Xiangwang Road.

According to the relevant person in charge of the street lighting (lighting) department of the Municipal Urban Management Bureau, the project has completed the bidding work on November 28, 2018. In February 2019, the preliminary site survey and program optimization were completed, and 1000 pilot installations were completed. The operation has been working well so far and is currently being prepared for full construction.

After the completion of the renovation, more than 40,000 street lamps in the urban area will be replaced with LED lights. The newly-renovated LED street lamp has a power saving rate of 57%, the lighting brightness is further improved, and the service life is further extended to create a more beautiful and comfortable lighting environment for the citizens, which is convenient for safe travel at night.
