5000 old street lights will be replaced by LED

Recently, it was learned from the Jiangbei District Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Ningbo City that Jiangbei took the lead in carrying out the road streetlight energy management renovation project in the whole city since the beginning of June this year, and will replace the 5,000-inch old street lamp head in the whole district. The high-pressure sodium lamp that originally glowed yellow will be replaced with a white-emitting LED lamp.

According to Xue Bo, the person in charge of the Urban Lighting Facilities Management Center of Jiangbei District, there are currently three teams working at the same time. Considering the inability to operate due to rain and electricity, 5000 street lamps are expected to be completed within 6 months.

Xue Bo also said that after special optical design of LED street lights, the light is strictly distributed on the road, and there is no light at all from the back, which does not affect residents' sleep.

It is understood that Jiangbei's 5000-inch street lamp replacement project is mainly distributed in the central city and Cicheng New City. At present, the trials of product quality parameters are carried out in three pilots of Tongtu Road, Qingjiang Road and Shuangdong Road. After the completion of the transformation, the whole district can be used annually. Saving electricity costs is about 3.5 million yuan.
