65 newly installed solar street lights illuminate villagers in Zhaoqing, Guangdong
The section from Wengang Avenue to Lianmaiwei Town is 1.1 kilometers long. Previously, due to the lack of lighting facilities, villagers had to take out portable flashlights or use mobile phones for lighting when it got dark. Vehicles traveling at night relied solely on car lights, which was not only inconvenient, but also posed certain safety risks.
In order to truly implement people's livelihood matters into a "people's support project" that complies with public opinion, is close to people's conditions, and resolves people's concerns, the Party Committee and Government of Lianmai Town took the initiative to sort out and conduct field surveys to understand the surrounding lighting and nighttime travel conditions of villagers. 65 solar street lights were installed on the Wei Town section of the road, and all were installed and put into use before the Spring Festival. Now, these solar street lights not only illuminate the villagers' way home, but also effectively eliminate safety hazards.
In the next step, Lianmai Town will continue to focus on hot issues of people's livelihood, strive to solve the urgent, difficult and anxious problems of the people, continuously improve the level of service to the people, and further improve the people's happiness index.
