Beijing Metro will carry out LED energy-saving renovation for 7 lines

In recent years, Beijing Metro has completed the special LED transformation of 4 lines and 5 vehicle sections of Metro Line 1, Line 2, Line 5 and Batong Line, and promoted 100,000 LED lighting.

Next, the passenger compartment lighting LED transformation will be carried out on 7 lines including Metro Line 6, Line 7, Yizhuang Line, etc., and a total of 57,000 lightings will be reconstructed, which is expected to achieve an annual power saving of 3.5 million degrees.

The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Metro Operation Company introduced at the forum that in 2018, the average subway unit consumption of the 16 subway lines operated by the Beijing Metro Operation Company reached 1.795 degrees/car-kilometer, and the average person-meter electricity reached 0.054 degrees compared to 2017. Both have risen.

At present, Beijing is making a new round of air conditioning renovation demonstration on Metro Line 1 and Line 2, hoping to apply the newly developed air conditioner end to the transformation. This year and next year, the air conditioning and energy-saving renovation of the 39 stations of Metro Line 10 and Line 15 will be carried out. It is estimated that the annual energy saving will be more than 10 million degrees.
