Beijing Yunhe East Street realizes tunnel lighting upgrade
Recently, the Beijing Tongzhou Highway Bureau carried out an overall upgrade and reconstruction of the Yunhe East Street Tunnel, which has been completed.
Yunhe East Street starts from the east exit of Yuntong Tunnel in the west and ends at Tongji Road in the east, with a total length of 2.153 kilometers, of which the tunnel section is 665 meters. It is located at the core of the administrative office area of Beijing's sub-center and is an important commuting route for municipal administrative offices.
The renovation and improvement of the Canal East Street Tunnel mainly includes tunnel lighting renovation project and tunnel monitoring access renovation. The lighting system in the original tunnel on Canal East Street had a single function, no intelligent control, and serious brightness attenuation. The Tongzhou Highway Bureau introduced a new lighting method to make the lighting in the tunnel controllable and adjustable on a light-by-light basis, and at the same time linked to the brightness sensor at the entrance. Fully realize the intelligent control and dynamic adjustment of the lighting system, effectively improving the "black and white hole" effect.
At the same time, the mechanical and electrical facilities control of the Canal East Street Tunnel will be connected to the Yuntong Tunnel Monitoring Center to achieve unified monitoring and unified dispatching, further improve the efficiency of tunnel management, and achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
In the next step, Tongzhou Highway Bureau will gradually build the Yuntong Tunnel Monitoring Center into a comprehensive emergency command center for sub-central city-managed urban tunnels. The hall of Yuntong Tunnel Emergency Command Center can realize 24-hour real-time monitoring; real-time monitoring of traffic conditions, equipment operation conditions, and environmental conditions in the tunnel. In the event of an emergency, the emergency command center activates emergency plans, remotely controls equipment and facilities, and issues warning messages to prevent the hazard from expanding. At the same time, emergency personnel, fire protection, traffic control, public security and other departments will be coordinated to deal with emergencies in the tunnel to further strengthen tunnel safety.
