Canadian company adopts Signify horticultural lighting products

According to reports, Canadian biotechnology science company Pharmagreen Biotech announced that it intends to use Signify's Philips GreenPower LED lighting products in its medical cannabis biotechnology complex for the cultivation of medical cannabis. The complex is a large tissue culture production, research and storage facility that ensures the quality of medical cannabis.

Pharmagreen Biotech stated that Philips GreenPower LED lighting technology adds high-tech value, and the strategic supply partnership between the company and Signify opens the door for future cooperation between the two parties to promote tissue culture industry solutions.

It is understood that the tissue culture seedlings will be grown in a unique environment and placed on vertically stacked layers. Each layer will be equipped with the correct light formulation, which is an important part of growing medical-grade cannabis. Cultivating medical cannabis under the right conditions (including light, soil, and irrigation) can reduce or even eliminate the threat of genetic disease and airborne pathogens, resulting in a robust product. The hemp will be sold to CBD hemp farmers or licensed growers.

Pharmagreen Biotech said that through Signify's latest LED technology, Pharmagreen can produce the best quality medical-grade cannabis plants.
