Adhering to the principle of "incorporate all possible, connect all possible," Cheng County has aggregated 4,067 video feeds from public areas across the county, including smart campuses, the Sharp Eyes project, and water services, forestry, and grassland monitoring. These resources cover the urban core and key areas of 17 townships. Combined with various AI algorithms, they form the Cheng County Video Convergence Platform. By utilizing standardized interface protocols, the platform breaks down "information silos." Through video transcoding, distribution, and 7×24-hour online monitoring, it achieves "precise mapping of camera locations, hierarchical permission management, and dynamic data retrieval."

The multi-functional integrated smart street lights installed along Cheng County's urban roads are a striking feature of this beautiful city. Cheng County has newly installed over 570 smart led street lights along urban roads. These integrate components such as street lighting, video surveillance, traffic signals, and emergency broadcast systems, playing a supportive role in promoting the integration and dispatching of smart city video resources in public areas.

The Deputy Director of the Cheng County Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau stated: "We will strengthen the application capability of information technology, explore and implement information-based methods for managing street lighting facilities, and systematically carry out the numbering of municipal street lights and the coded management of municipal facilities. This will gradually achieve technological and intelligent applications like 'one-code positioning' and 'scan-to-report damage,' enhancing fault maintenance standards. It will endow street lighting facilities with perceptible and predictive capabilities, improve the convenience of municipal services, and make urban management smarter and more efficient."

Smart street lights are just one example of Cheng County's efforts to improve its smart city construction. Within the smart city framework, while continuously advancing the intelligence level of urban facilities, Cheng County is expanding smart application scenarios across various fields such as smart government, smart transportation, and smart urban management by integrating diverse resources and optimizing service processes. This enhances the refinement and intelligence of urban management, not only improving the standard of city governance but also enabling residents to enjoy more convenient and efficient living services.
