Chongqing Rongchang District optimizes campus surrounding lighting
Recently, the Chongqing Rongchang District Urban Management Bureau is carrying out the "Yucheng School Protection" campaign. During the safety inspection of the lighting facilities around Southwest University (Rongchang Campus), it was found that the old Shiji Bridge was not equipped with street lights, which posed certain safety hazards.
The old Shiji Bridge is located below the side of the new Shiji Bridge. It is a pure pedestrian bridge with a total length of about 100 meters. As a pedestrian passage across the Laixi River, residents of Southwest University (Rongchang Campus), Xueyuan Road Primary School, Bishuiliyuan Community, and Hepan College Community are accustomed to traveling on the old bridge, but the old bridge mainly relies on the residual light of the new bridge street lights, and the light is weak. In order to eliminate the dark area of the old bridge as soon as possible, the District Urban Management Bureau has formulated a plan to add street lights based on pedestrian routes and public needs, and added 4 LED street lights on one side of the bridge.
During the construction, the peak hours of students going to and from school were avoided, and the "minimally invasive" mode was adopted. The single operation surface was controlled within 3 square meters, and low-noise equipment was used for operation to minimize the impact on surrounding teachers, students and residents.
