Pingwang Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, conducts day and night patrols to strengthen grid-based streetlight management
Although streetlights are small, they are the brightest "stars" in the night sky of towns. Streetlights not only illuminate the way home, but also warm the hearts of residents. Recently, the Comprehensive Law Enforcement and Safety Supervision Office of Pingwang Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, in accordance with the principle of "dividing regions, sections, and steps", has adopted a combination of daytime and night patrols to strengthen grid-based streetlight management, assigning streetlight facilities in the jurisdiction to specific supervision and maintenance personnel, and checking the streetlights within the town area in turn and keeping patrol records. The damaged streetlights are repaired and maintained in a timely manner to ensure the intact rate and lighting rate of streetlights.
In response to the lighting problems reported by residents, the municipal management post took the first-time response measures and promptly fed back the results to residents, ensuring the service commitment of "small faults are not left overnight, and major faults are repaired on the same day", so that residents can feel our service effects in a timely manner and enhance their sense of security and satisfaction.
In order to further ensure the safe operation of lighting facilities, combined with the climate characteristics of increased rainfall, strong winds and significant temperature fluctuations in spring, the municipal management post has also increased the inspection of facilities such as street lamp covers, street lamp foundations (bases) and street lamp cables. Once problems such as street lamps not lighting up, street lamp covers being damaged, lamp poles tilted and loose, and cables being exposed are found, law enforcement personnel and maintenance personnel will be immediately arranged to conduct on-site supervision and maintenance.
