Chongqing Yunyang County Installs More Than 300 Solar Street Lights

Recently, Houye Town, Yunyang County, Chongqing City, ushered in a people-warming livelihood project, installing more than 300 solar street lights throughout the town, lighting up the night roads for residents with practical actions, and protecting every homecoming peace.

At the street light installation site in Jiqing Village, Houye Town, the workers acted quickly. After carefully checking the components of the new street lights, they installed the solar panels steadily, then lifted the new street lights onto the base, accurately installed the gaskets, and tightened the screws. The whole process was completed in one go, and the street light installation work was proceeding in an orderly manner.

With the lighting of street lights, the night in Jiqing Village is no longer dark, but surrounded by warm lights. The villagers walked out of their homes, stopped to watch, or whispered to each other, with happy smiles on their faces.

"I didn't expect the new street lights to be installed so quickly. The road used to be dark at night. Now with the street lights, we are much safer and feel more at ease." Cheng Xiaoli, a villager in Jiqing Village, said with a smile.

This is not only a change in Jiqing Village, but also a result that all residents of Houye Town are looking forward to.

This time, Houye Town will install more than 300 solar street lights on the main roads and some courtyards. These street lights will be dotted on the 6-kilometer-long road like stars, providing safety for more than 500 households and more than 50 students in the surrounding area to travel at night.

Houye Town will work with a more efficient and pragmatic attitude to focus on solving the "urgent, difficult, and anxious" problems around the people, so that the people will have more sense of gain, happiness, and security, and do their best to do every practical thing that benefits the people, and "solve" the people's livelihood with actions.
