Solar street light renovation and lighting in Weifang, Shandong

In order to improve resource utilization efficiency and accelerate the construction of an ecological and civilized campus, the Vocational Education Center School in Linqu County, Weifang City, Shandong Province has steadily promoted the renovation and lighting of campus street lights, laying the foundation for green and sustainable development.

Since the implementation of the project, the school has set up a special working group to be responsible for the construction. At present, a total of 102 solar street lights have been renovated to achieve full coverage of campus lighting without dead ends, providing safety guarantees for teachers and students. At the same time, more than 26,000 LED luminous punching bulbs with luminous characters on the roof were replaced, and the lighting effect of the campus night scene was further improved. After the renovation is completed, it is estimated that the annual average electricity consumption can be saved by 40,000 kWh and carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 32 tons.

In the next step, the school will start the solar water heating system project for the student dormitory building to create a better green and low-carbon campus.
