The project proposal of the alliance standard "General Technical Requirements for LED Lighting System for Artificial Light Vegetable Production" jointly proposed by the company was approved by the CSA Standardization Committee (CSAS) Management Committee, and the alliance standard CSA058-201X "LED Lighting System for Artificial Light Leaf Vegetable Production" was officially established. In recent years, artificial light plant factories have developed rapidly at home and abroad, and have become a research hotspot in the field of plant production. Improving luminous efficiency and reducing energy consumption have always been important issues in the field of artificial light plant production. LED can adjust the spectrum and irradiance intensity according to the needs, forming a spectrum that basically matches the needs of plant photosynthesis and morphogenesis. The light energy utilization rate can reach 80% to 90%, and the energy saving effect is remarkable. The unique performance of LED light source provides an effective development space for its application in the field of artificial light plant production.

At present, LED artificial light plant factories mainly focus on the production of leafy vegetables, and have gradually formed a market scale. At present, the planting area of artificial light plant factories that have been built and planned in my country is about 1 million square meters, and the estimated demand for LED light source products is about 105 million (20W/2.1umol/J), and the annual compound growth rate is 16.7 % speed increase. This technical report specifies the general technical requirements for LED lighting systems for leaf vegetable production under full artificial light conditions, including terms and definitions, classifications, technical requirements, effect evaluation methods, and measurement methods. At the same time, "general cultivation and management measures for the production of artificial light-leaf vegetables", "commonly used cultivation models for the production of artificial light-leaf vegetables", "general environmental conditions for the production of artificial light-leaf vegetables", "general environmental conditions for the production of typical leafy vegetables", "Typical Leaf Vegetable Plant Photosynthesis Light Response Curve" and other information are included as appendices, so that the industry can have a more comprehensive understanding of the production-related information of artificial light leafy vegetables.

Currently, the CSAS Secretariat is recruiting a drafting group for this standard within the full members of CSAS, with a view to launching the standard formulation work as soon as possible.
