DLC pushes the first version of LED plant lighting energy efficiency acceptance certification application
DLC (Design Lights Consortium) also introduced the first version of LED plant lighting energy efficiency requirements while implementing solid-state lighting requirements V4.4, providing professional energy efficiency technical reference and certification for stakeholders such as planting practitioners and buyers.
01 Certification implementation date
DLC officially accepted the application of Horticultural Lighting from 2018-11-19.
02 Main hard indicators
Photosynthetic photon efficiency (PPE): not less than 1.805 ol/J;
Life expectancy: photosynthetic photon flux maintenance (PFMP) Q90 is greater than or equal to 36,000 hours;
The product warranty must be 5 years; the power factor must be greater than or equal to 0.9; the total harmonic distortion (current) must be less than or equal to 20%; pass the safety certification; the fan and drive life must reach 50,000 hours.
03 Parameter Reporting Requirements
Photon flux (PPF, PFFR) in each band;
Light quantum spectroscopy (SQD);
Photosynthetic photon intensity distribution (PPID);
Lifetime requirements: Far Red Photon Flux Maintenance (PFMFR).
