Hebei Hengshui updates road lamp poles to improve lighting quality

Recently, the Street Light Management Center of the Urban Management Bureau of Hengshui City, Hebei Province, has continued to carry out the "Light Up the Way Home" campaign, continuously optimizing the efficiency of night lighting and striving to improve the quality of the city.

On Heping East Road in downtown Hengshui, street lamp construction workers operated the work vehicle to dismantle the old lamp poles. Workers installed the prepared new lamp poles to the corresponding positions, adjusted the angle and height of the street lamps, and conducted wiring and power-on tests.

It is understood that in the summer, the Hengshui City Street Light Management Center found that the branches and leaves of trees on both sides of Heping East Road in the urban area blocked the light source of the street lamps, and the night lighting effect could no longer meet people's needs for safe travel at night. The Hengshui City Street Light Management Center decided to replace the original lamp poles on the road section with extended lamp poles with a lamp arm length of 3 meters, so that the lamp arm can protrude from the tree crown, reduce the obstruction of the light source of the street lamps by the branches and leaves of the trees, improve the road illumination, and effectively meet the needs of citizens to travel at night.

It is understood that at present, the lamp pole renewal work on Heping East Road in downtown Hengshui has been installed and put into use. After replacing the long-arm lamp pole, the street light source is clearer and brighter, which not only facilitates citizens' night travel, but also eliminates the safety hazards of traffic.
