Japan LED lighting penetration rate of about 2%

　　Japan Lighting Industry Association Senior Managing Director mud canonical sources, lighting equipment currently used in Japan are about more than 900 million units, of which about 20 million units of LED lighting , according to the ratio calculation , LED penetration in Japan is only about 2 %.

　　Japan as early as 10 years ago, began production and sales of LED lighting , now why penetration is still low ? Canon introduces the mud , the main reason is the quality of LED lighting has not yet reached the desired state , this energy-saving high- performance LED lighting with fluorescent lamps only just comparable , but still worse than most LED energy-saving fluorescent lamp performance . Although life expectancy is longer than a lot of LED lighting fluorescent lamps , but the price is 2-3 times fluorescent lamps , cost is no advantage. The reason why the government is still advocating LED lighting , is that there is much room for improvement in the future .

　　According to reports, the Japanese Ministry of Economy from 2009 began to develop the next generation of lighting technology to enhance industrial competitiveness as one of the project , the relevant research institutions grants to support research and development of LED lighting technology , the 2012 fiscal year of the project budget of 16.7 billion yen. In addition , the Japanese government also provides grants to consumers to encourage residents to use LED lighting products.
