Jiayuguan Street Lamp Monitoring System Upgrading and Transformation

In recent years, our city has continued to carry out lighting improvement projects, and actively promote the energy-saving renovation of road and street lamps. While reducing the energy consumption of lighting power, improve the grade and standard of lighting projects, further improve the appearance of the city, and let smart street lights "light up" the urban night sky.

According to the previous on-site survey of the city's roads, point confirmation, and statistics on the light source, quantity, energy consumption and other information of lighting facilities, the Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development insists on adapting measures to local conditions and implementing them by category, promoting energy-saving renovation of street lamps, and using the Internet of Things, Mobile Internet, cloud computing and other new-generation information technologies establish an intelligent control service platform for urban street lamps to realize remote monitoring, energy-saving analysis and all-round information management of street lamp business.  Dimming, status query, fault location, realize "scientific lighting energy saving, automatic fault monitoring, visualized street lamp control, intelligent auxiliary decision-making", and further optimize the lighting environment.

Wang Xingyu, a staff member of the Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-rural Development, told reporters that the road street lamp monitoring system upgrade service project aims to use the urban street lamp intelligent control service platform to conduct real-time monitoring and energy-saving management of the "points, lines, and surfaces" of urban road lighting in our city. Keep abreast of the operating status of urban road lighting, find problems and solve them in a timely manner, count the basic information of lighting facilities and energy consumption, and scientifically guide the lighting management of urban roads.

At present, 36 urban arterial roads (except Xinhua Road) including Xiongguan Avenue, Fangte Avenue, Airport Road, and Tiyu Avenue have completed centralized control and renovation work. After the transformation is completed, precise energy-saving management methods can be realized, on-demand, green lighting can be realized, and the safety of road lighting in our city can be effectively guaranteed.
