Landscape Lighting Renovation on Fan'an Road, Zhuanqiao Town, Minhang District, Shanghai

As one of the main roads in Zhuanqiao Town, Minhang District, Shanghai, Fan'an Road is flanked by large residential complexes, schools, farmers’ markets, and various commercial establishments. Over time, the original landscape light strips, installed earlier under technical limitations, gradually revealed issues such as light degradation, poor projection effects, and partial detachment.

To enhance the quality of the urban nighttime living environment and ensure safe nighttime travel for residents, the Zhuanqiao Town Urban Construction Center prioritized the renovation of landscape lighting along both sides of Fan'an Road (from Zhuanxing Road to Liannong Road). After careful design and construction, the updated landscape lighting was officially unveiled recently. The previously tree-mounted light strips were removed and replaced with energy-efficient LED fixtures, with light sources projecting upward from the base to illuminate the mid-to-upper sections of the street trees. As night falls, the interplay of pedestrians passing by and the soft glow of the landscape lighting creates a vibrant, lively atmosphere, adding a unique charm to the nighttime scenery of Zhuanqiao Town.
